BEAVER — Lacey York, of the Stifel Financial Corp. office in Beaver, was named to Forbes’ 2021 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list.
The list spotlights more than 5,000 top-performing advisors selected from a pool of 32,725. Advisors were nominated by their firms then researched, interviewed and assigned rankings within their respective states.
York is a member of the Private Wealth Management Leadership Team of Stifel’s Women’s Initiative Network, and was named to Forbes’ America’s Top Women Wealth Advisors list in 2020 and to Working Mother magazine’s Top Wealth Advisor Mom’s list that same year.
York designs personalized wealth strategies for families, small businesses and nonprofit organizations. She began her investment industry career in 1999 and joined Stifel in 2009. York earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation in 2004. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
She grew up in Chippewa Township and now lives in Sewickley.
To qualify for the Forbes list, advisors met the following basic requirements: a minimum of seven years as an advisor, a minimum of one year at their current firm, recommended and nominated by their firm, completion of an online survey, over 50% of their revenue/production must be with individuals, and an acceptable compliance record.
