Benchmark indices snapped their two-day rising streak and ended with steep losses on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, which was the last trading session of the financial year 2020-21 (FY21). The Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange plunged to close near 49,500-mark while the Nifty at National Stock Exchange settled below 14,700 level. The Sensex declined 627 points, or 1.25 per cent, to end at 49,509. The Nifty at National Stock Exchange also slipped 154 points, 1.04 per cent, to finish at 14,691. CONCOR: Railways revenue from freight loading has increased by 24% YoY in March 2021 to Rs 12,137 crore from Rs 9,806 crore posted in the same month last year. The freight loading has increased from 98.76 metric tons to 122.19 metric tons.

Varroc Engineering: Nippon India Mutual Fund bought 3.70% stakes in Varroc Engineering. With this, Nippon Indias stake in the company has increased from 2.07% to 5.77%.
