Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Boeing and Nike, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Tuesday afternoon. The Dow DJIA, -0.97% was most recently trading 325 points, or 1.0%, lower, as shares of Boeing BA, -4.59% and Nike NKE, -4.93% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Boeing’s shares have dropped $11.68 (4.8%) while those of Nike are off $6.28 (4.7%), combining for a roughly 118-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Goldman Sachs GS, -3.77%, Dow Inc. DOW, -3.11%, and Caterpillar CAT, -2.57%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.58-point swing.
