Princeton Mutual Aid To Host Benefit Concert For Community

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Mutual Aid is partnering with Redivivus Opera for a community concert on June 12.

This inaugural concert will feature Kathryn Elliott, mezzo-soprano; Rachel E. Sigman, soprano; and Laura Isabella, soprano. They will perform operatic and musical theatre selections.

All proceeds from the concert will go to Princeton Mutual Aid. They will be using the funds to organize a week of summer camp for children of single parents, help community members with emergency medical bill assistance and get biweekly grocery deliveries for local immigrant workers and senior neighbors.

The concert will be live-streamed from the Pettoranello Gardens amphitheater at Community Park North.

The tickets are priced $25, but attendees can also pay-what-you-can.

Princeton Mutual Aid was founded at the beginning of the pandemic and helps community members food deliveries, rent assistance etc.

Redivivus Opera is a newly formed platform for artists to showcase their talents. The aim of the platform is to help artists transcend problems brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m., June 12.

All in-person attendees are requested to wear a mask, observe social distancing, and get their temperatures checked at the amphitheater.
