Dow's nearly 150-point drop led by losses for Intel, Inc. stocks

Behind losses for shares of Intel and Inc., the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Thursday morning. Shares of Intel INTC, -1.97% and Inc. CRM, -1.33% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, +0.15% was most recently trading 146 points (0.4%) lower. Intel’s shares have declined $1.22, or 2.1%, while those of Inc. have dropped $4.09, or 1.7%, combining for an approximately 35-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Microsoft MSFT, -0.70%, McDonald’s MCD, -0.56%, and Apple Inc. AAPL, -0.94%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
