India’s mutual funds managed to record total assets worth Rs 34.1 lakh crore in June 2021 compared to Rs 33 lakh crore in May 2021. Equity assets also touched a record high of almost Rs 11 lakh crore vs. Rs 10.3 lakh crore during the same time. The industry witnessed a net inflow of Rs 15320 crore vs. an outflow of Rs 38602 crore, while equity inflow moderated to Rs 5988 crore vs. Rs 10083 crore. India’s largest fund house, SBI MF, had equity assets worth Rs 3 lakh crore. The second-largest fund house, ICICI Prudential MF, held equity assets worth Rs 2 lakh crore, while the third-largest, HDFC MF, had equity assets worth Rs 1.8 lakh crore in June 2021.
