Kroger (KR) closed at $43.06 in the latest trading session, marking a +0.47% move from the prior day. The stock outpaced the S&P 500’s daily gain of 0.17%. At the same time, the Dow added 0.55%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.4%.

Prior to today’s trading, shares of the supermarket chain had gained 6.27% over the past month. This has outpaced the Retail-Wholesale sector’s gain of 1.41% and the S&P 500’s gain of 3.19% in that time.
