In FX markets, GBP/USD is trading at 1.3587, EUR/GBP is trading at 0.8340. The US Dollar Index is up 0.2%.

Bitcoin is trading at $42,002.

Today’s calendar highlights include Eurozone Unemployment, US Wholesale Inventories, Wholesale Trade Sales.


Hikma Pharmaceuticals (LON:HIK) – Launched Hikma 503B – a new outsourced sterile compounding business focused on providing high quality, ready-to-administer injectable medications that are customised to the specific needs of patients in the United States.

Plus500 (LON:PLUSP) – FY 2021 revenue was approximately $718 million, supported by Customer Income. EBITDA is expected to be approximately $387 million for the year and basic EPS is expected to be approximately $3.10, both ahead of market expectations. Continues to expect that Plus500 will deliver sustainable growth over the medium to long term. Following the completion of the current share buyback programme and the conclusion of the current closed period, a new programme will be considered by the Board.

Rotork (LON:ROR) – Appointed Managing Director of the Group’s Water&Power and Chemical, Process&Industrial divisions Kiet Huynh as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Spire Healthcare (LON:SPI) – Reached an agreement in principle to provide support to the NHS and its patients during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. While the final details of a new contract have yet to be agreed, it will operate on similar terms to the contract in place during Jan-Mar 2021 which was announced on 21 December 2020.

Assura (LON:AGRP) – Growing portfolio of 634 properties with current annualised rent roll of £132.5 million. Nine acquisitions completed in Q3 for a total cost of £105 million. At 31 December 2021 net debt stood at £957 million with a weighted average interest rate of 2.3%.

Greencoat UK Wind (LON:UKWG) – Commissioning of Windy Rig and Glen Kyllachy wind farms and their subsequent acquisitions have been completed. The addition of Windy Rig and Glen Kyllachy increases Greencoat UK Wind’s net generating capacity to 1,422MW.

LXi REIT (LON:LXIL) – Targeting a fully covered annual dividend of 6.3 pence per share for the 12-month period commencing 1 April 2022.  Expect to collect 100% of the rent due for Q1 2022.

Aston Martin Lagonda (LON:AML) – Reportedly approached Ford executive Steven Armstrong to gauge interest in becoming CEO.

THG (LON:THG) – Has shared information with the UK Financial Conduct Authority over what the CEO Matthew Moulding has described as a “coordinated attack” on its share price.
