Flexi-cap equity funds invest at least 65 per cent of their total assets in equity investments, with no stated boundaries on how much exposure to large-cap, mid-cap, or small-cap segments they should have. These have the ability to adjust market cap allocations based on the fund manager’s expectations. These two Flexi-cap mutual funds highlighted here have given over 44% returns on investment via SIP.

Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund – Direct Plan-Growth

This Flexi-cap fund was launched on 28 May 2013 by the PPFAS Mutual fund. It is an open-ended high risk medium-sized fund of its category. The fund since its inception has delivered 19.42% average annual returns. 

The fund has Rs 21768.48 Crores worth of Assets Under Management (AUM). The NAV of this fund declared on 06th May 2022 is Rs 49.0081. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.79%, which is close to its category average expense ratio but less than the average. The fun is rated 5-star by the Value research.

The fund has 66.44% investment in equities of which 44.3% is in large-cap stocks, 3.83% is in mid-cap stocks, and 12.07% in small-cap stocks. The fund has the majority of its money invested in the Financial, Services, Technology, Consumer Staples, and Automobile sectors.

This Flexi-cap fund was launched on 04 March 2015 by the PGIM India Mutual fund. It is an open-ended high risk medium-sized fund of its category. Since its launch, it has delivered 14.61% average annual returns. 

The fund has Rs 4,082.87 Crores worth of Assets Under Management (AUM). The NAV of this fund declared on 06th May 2022 is Rs 26.62. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.44%, which is less than its category average expense ratio. The fund has been rated 5-star by the CRISIL and Value research. 

Fund has 98.28% investment in equities of which 47.44% is in large-cap stocks, 17.94% is in mid-cap stocks, and 15.92% is in small-cap stocks. The fund has 0.24% investment in Debt of which 0.24% in Government securities. The fund has the majority of its money invested in the Financial, Technology, Capital Goods, Chemicals, and Materials sectors.
