JPMorgan Wealth Management says it has appointed Mike Ayerov to the newly created role of head of business development for branch-based advisors.
Ayerov will assume the role on June 1.
The new role is in line with JPMorgan Wealth’s growth strategy, the company notes. Ayerov is expected to help branch-based advisors accelerate the growth of their business, especially with more first-time investors and by deepening client relationships.
He will report to Mollie Colavita, JPMorgan Wealth’s head of practice management, and will be part of the leadership team of Chase Wealth Management chief executive officer Eric Tepper.
Ayerov is currently JPMorgan Wealth’s regional director overseeing advisors and market directors in Staten Island, New York; New Jersey and Greater Pennsylvania. The company hasn’t named a replacement for Ayerov’s current role.
Ayerov started his career as a financial advisor and has been with JPMorgan for nearly 15 years.
