ICICI Prudential US Bluechip Equity Fund – Direct Plan

As mentioned this is a bluechip thematic equity international mutual from the house of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. It is an open-ended equity mutual fund scheme, rated high risk. 

The investment objective of ICICI Prudential US Bluechip Equity Fund is to provide long-term capital appreciation to investors by primarily investing in equity and equity-related securities of companies listed on recognized stock exchanges in the United States of America (USA). The Scheme shall also invest in ADRs/GDRs issued by Indian and foreign companies.

Fund Details

The fund has Assets Under Management (AUM) worth Rs 1865.72 crore. The Net Asset Value (NAV) of the fund declared on 11th July 2022 is Rs 44.99. It has an expense ratio of 1.08%, while the category average is 1.12%. S&P 500 TRI is the fund’s benchmark.

Investors can start investing in this fund via lump sum amount and SIP. The minimum investment amount required for lump sum payment is Rs 5,000 and for SIP it is Rs. 100. For additional investment, the minimum investment amount required is Rs 1,000. Although there is no lock-in period, in this case, there is a 1% redemption fee if the investment is redeemed within 30 days of the investment.

As the name suggests, the major holdings of this fund are in US stocks which include major stocks such as Kellogg Company, Gilead Science Inc (USA), Masco Corp, Bio Idec Inc. (USA), Ecolab Inc, Facebook, Alphabat Inc Class C-Parent company of Google, Veeva Systems Inc, Zimmer Biomet holdings, Amazon, 3M, Microsoft Corporation, and various other.
