Mahindra Manulife Multi Cap Badhat Yojana

This is a 5 years old Multi-cap mutual fund scheme launched by the Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund. It was launched on May 11, 2017. It is an equity category mutual fund, rated highly risky. It is an open-ended fund.

Under the fund’s Direct Plan Growth Option, its Assets Under Management (AUM) is Rs 1134.55 crore. The expense ratio is 0.5%, which is less than its category average expense ratio of Rs 0.73%. Fund’s Net Asset Value (NAV) declared on Jule 18, 2022 is Rs 501.580.

The fund has been rated 3-star by Mutual Fund Rating agency CRISIL. The fund seeks to provide medium to long-term capital appreciation through appropriate diversification and taking a low risk on business quality. The benchmark of the fund is Nifty 500 Midcap 50:25:25 TRI.

Investment

To begin investing in this fund, the minimum amount required for lump-sum payments is Rs 1,000 and for SIP it is Rs 1,000 as well. Investors can also to additional investments in this fund. The minimum amount required for additional investments is Rs 500. 

This fund comes with no lock-in period, however, the fund charges 1% for redemption within 365 days of the investment.

The fund has major investments in the Financials sector, Energy, Capital Goods, Technology, Automobile, Services, Consumer Staples, Materials, Healthcare, Construction, Chemicals, Textiles, and communications

Fund’s major holdings in these sectors include Infosys, Reliance Industries, State Bank Of India, ICICI Bank, ITC, Maruti Suzuki India, Hindustan Aeronautics, L&T Housing Finance, Deepak Fertilisers & petrochemicals Corporation, Zee Entertainment, Hitachi Energy India, Canara Bank, Tech Mahindra, NTPC, Ambuja Cements, ABB India Ltd, Escorts Kubota, PVR, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retails, Balrampur Chini Mills, TVS Motor Company, IRB Infrastructure Dev, Minda Corporations and Polycab India.
