NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 11:25AM
Marico(up 2.51%), Varun Beverages(up 2.01%), Prataap Snacks(up 1.67%), ADF Foods(up 1.64%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.41%), Dodla Dairy(up 1.28%), Jyothy Labs(up 1.06%), Heritage Foods(up 0.92%), Gillette India(up 0.89%) and Dabur India(up 0.86%) were among the top gainers.
Future Consumer(down 73.05%), Dangee Dums(down 2.54%), Nakoda Group(down 1.96%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 1.96%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.48%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 1.26%), Umang Dairies(down 0.99%), Colgate Palmolive(India)(down 0.71%), Bajaj Consumer(down 0.59%) and Zydus Wellness(down 0.57%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 140.9 points down at 17577.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 454.0 points at 59002.78 at around 11:25AM.
Hindustan Unilever(up 1.41%), ITC(up 1.39%), Eicher Motors(up 1.23%), Nestle India(up 0.64%), Asian Paints(up 0.56%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.46%), Britannia Industries(up 0.43%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.4%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.23%) and Titan Company Ltd(up 0.03%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv(down 3.18%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 2.77%), SBI Life(down 2.73%), Axis Bank(down 1.85%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.82%), HDFC(down 1.79%), ICICI Bank(down 1.75%), Shree Cement(down 1.7%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.69%) and HDFC Bank(down 1.54%) were trading in the red.
